NOPI Nationals GM Awards 2007

by Andy Williamson Filed Under:

For the past couple of years, we have worked to highlight some GM cars and trucks in the GM Owners Area at the NOPI Nationals Super Show.

This year was great, as there were a ton of amazing cars to choose from, and the owners made it all worth it!

We had a great time talking to owners about their cars and what they have done to them, and what their plans are for the future. At the end of the day, they are the reason we do what we do, and we take this time to say thank you for your support!

GM AwardsWe usually start looking at cars pulling into the GM Owners Area on Saturday to see who might make the preliminary GM Award list. Then, on Sunday, the field starts to get tighter and more selective. The Godfather of NOPI for GM, Bob Kern, was the man behind the awards, and we worked very closely with him to make sure we picked the best of the best.

We want to thank all of you that came out and parked in the GM Owner’s Area and visited the GM Tuner Tour - and even took a ride in the GM Ride and Drive out front. We had an amazing weekend, and look forward to seeing you all again next year!

I went to this show Not even Knowing they Have these Awards & I value the Gm Award More than the Nopi Trophy I got! They are Both a Good feeling, But getting 1 from the Maker of my car & doing all my own work Makes it even Sweeter! I just got into the Tuner Scene about a Year & a Half ago after I bought My Cobalt SS/SC & The Car has been a Blast to tool around with.
Thanks for showing us a Good Time & Caring enough to Show it!
