Reconfigurable Performance Display Available for 2009

We all know that the ECOtec family of engines kick some serious tail, but how do you prove to your friends that you actually do own the best sport compact car on the market without constantly letting them see your tail lights? The Reconfigurable Performance Display of course! For 2009, GM has developed a special Reconfigurable Performance Display so you can brag to your friends with lesser vehicles about just how many G you were pulling in the last corner.

The display lets you access a whole host of information on the fly, from your driver seat, that used to be only available to specialized technicians. The display also allows you to disable/enable Traction Control, Stability Control and Competition Mode, for when you hit the local autocross on the weekends and want unrestricted freedom to whip your LNF around the track. No need to keep an eye on your tach either, as the RPD has integrated shift lights that can be individually set for every single gear. The RPD is a must have for your 2009 Cobalt or HHR SS, and for only $295 as a factory option it’s a steal.

The display has a wide range of data available to the driver including: Boost, Wideband Air Fuel Ratio, Cam Phaser Angle, Spark Advance, Engine Torque and Horsepower, G-force as well as Barometric Pressure, Temperature and Battery Voltage that are displayed on every screen.
